There's no way of telling, since there's no way of knowing what the EV is even with the minimum $10,000 jackpot. The link in the original post lists a number of different settings for the EV - and even at that, those may take the increasing progressive into account. (If the progressive grows based on coin-in, then it will never be +EV.)

If it's the case, then yes there could be a + EV for a slot machine. But there is no way of knowing that. This is not true. You can get par sheets or track machines, look at coin in coin out meters, get inside information, Just assume they are the lowest possible @ 75%. There are Plus EV situations on slots all over ,all day long that people can easily identify and play confidently with a profit and do well over a short and long period of time.
